Travel apps you have to check

Without a doubt, we live in times when technology has moved forward a lot. Nowadays, when we travel, we can support ourselves with apps which will help us around new places, tell us where we are, write down a list of things to take or plan our travel itself to avoid bad mood after landing.

Why not use the opportunities that are within our reach?

Below you’ll find most interesting apps that I’ve managed to find and which I will certainly use during my next trip.

New York

While thinking about going to the other side of the globe, you need to know what jetlag is. But what next, how to plan our trip to avoid the consequences of going through multiple timezones? Jetlag Genie app will do that for you. It will precisely plan your flight to minimise the jet lag effects. Perfectly tailored app :)

In one of the previous posts I wrote about list of things to pack. Do you know there’s an app that will pack your bag for you? You only have to tell Packing Pro where you want to go, for how long and with who, and it will suggest whatever you’ll need, genius!

What’s the most important thing when going abroad, especially when there’s no internet connection? Emergency numbers! Forewarned is forearmed, and with TravelSafe Pro you can feel safe. It provides you with an access to all the most important emergency numbers.

And when you like what you’re seeing, but you have no clue what you’re actually looking at – it’s easy enough to point your camera with a Wikitude on it and it will give you all the information in response – what it is, when was it built, what’s it history. Of course, it doesn’t work on people :)

The final app might hep you find best and cheapest offers throughout the hotels, cars or flights. Don’t have time to overpay? Try out Kayak.

I hope that the mentioned apps will ease or make your trip more pleasant. If you already know them, let me know how they worked out for you :)
